Physically located within the Physicians Center North Tower of the West Jefferson Medical Center, we enjoy access to the award-winning medical resources provided by West Jeff, such as surgery facilities, imaging studies and the West Jefferson Wound Care clinic.

Within the Foot and Ankle Center itself, we offer digital X-ray, digital scanning for custom orthotics, dedicated medical assistants, and the Electronic Medical Record system. Able to access your patient records through both the West Jeff and the Ochsner patient databases, our integrated EMR saves time, cost, and hassle when it comes to your care. Our dedicated X-ray facilities mean we don’t have to outsource your scans, and we also offer custom orthotics that are tailor-made to fit your body.

In general, the Foot and Ankle Center treats many conditions in-house, including those listed on the previous page. We offer bandaging and compression dressings, biopsies, casts, injections, and fittings for Durable Medical Equipment (specialized footwear for podiatric patients). If you are elderly or disabled, our clinic is fully equipped and accessible for your needs, and we will work with you on specialized options for your care. We also offer expert pediatric care, treating infants, toddlers, and teens.

The Foot and Ankle Center offers both conservative and surgical options for care, with full consultations provided before any decision is made. For more complex cases, the Foot and Ankle Center has admitting privileges both at West Jefferson Medical Center and at Ochsner on the West Bank. For conditions requiring multidisciplinary support, the Foot and Ankle Center works closely with other specialties—including vascular, endocrine, cardiac, and renal specialists— to ensure you receive the best care and treatment.
